Newborn photography is a highly specialised area of photography, of which I have lots of experience. These photographs are about capturing your newborn baby just as they are. I aim to capture all the little details that only newborn babies have. My newborn photography sessions are relaxed, and led totally by your baby.

This session is more ideal if you only want a couple of images or love my style of images but have a smaller budget. Newborn mini session must be stated at booking as it is shorter version off the full experience.
My style is simple, timeless, and all about baby. I never want my images to look dated, and find my clients choose me because off the simplicity/pureness of my style. As a specialist newborn photographer in Belfast, I get the pleasure of photographing babies from all over Northern Ireland & Ireland, photographing babies and their families is a true passion. I love every second, and since i specialise in baby and childrens photography, I get to meet my family's at this special time and continue document them, as their little one and their family grow.
My Newborn photoshoots take place in my photography studio, located at 2-4 Bloomfield Avenue, Belfast, BT5 5AD.

FAQ
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I advise that you book your newborn photoshoot while you are still pregnant. My dairy does usually fill quickly, so its always best to book before baby arrives to secure a date. I can sometimes take last minute bookings, so always ask!
HOW CAN I BOOK, WHEN I DONT KNOW WHEN BABY WILL ARRIVE?
I only take on a set amount of newborn baby sessions a month to accommodate all the changing dates. Your deposit means you have one of my places and I will send you a few options after baby arrives. I expect to hear from mums anytime in the few weeks before and after. Obviously some babies come earlier than expected and we just wait to when they are ready, each pregnancy is different and we just schedule to suit after baby is born.
CAN I PURCHASE MORE DIGITAL FILES?
Yes, I will show you all the images from your gallery and you can choose if you would like to purchase extra.
CAN I PURCHASE WALL ART?
Yes I offer a beautiful range of wall art options, as well as albums, print boxes, individual prints and digital images. All final products are of a very high quality finish. This is what we specialise in and love seeing our clients walk away with something special for their homes.
WHEN DO WE PAY?
Your deposit of £45 secures your session and is paid on booking.
This covers the 3 hour studio time, editing and viewing. Products are purchased on viewing your gallery. You then pay the remaining balance from your chosen package on the day off your session.
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO PHOTOGRAPH A NEWBORN?
Newborns are best photographed within the first 1-2 weeks of life. During this time babies will usually hold some of the natural curl and flexibility from when they were in the womb. Those first weeks work best to get peaceful, sleepy poses. Older newborns can still do well in these sessions, so please don't be put off. I am to capture awake and sleepy images no matter what and offer newborn session up to around 6 weeks. After this age we would just change some things to suit them, but no matter what age your baby is, we can get a beautiful gallery, we would book as a baby session, and wouldn't be looking to do a typical newborn workflow, and a shorter studio time would be needed.
