I advise that you book your newborn photoshoot while you are still pregnant. My dairy does usually fill quickly, so its always best to book before baby arrives to secure a date. I can sometimes take last minute bookings, due to early and late arrivals so always reach out even if baby is already here. Most people feel more comfortable booking after their 12 or 20 week scan, so just as soon as you are ready.

I only take on a set amount of newborn baby sessions a month to accommodate all the changing dates. Your deposit means you have one of those spaces guaranteed. I expect to hear of babies arrival anytime in the few weeks before and after. Obviously some babies come earlier than expected and we just wait to when they are ready, each pregnancy is different and we just schedule to suit after baby is born. I will send across a choice of dates as soon as you let me know you are all feeling ready.

Yes, in a digital age I know now people want to have files digitally, which is why I have created digital collections which you can purchase after seeing your images. You do not have to purchase a digital collection and can choose to pick products from our product range.

You pay your £99 booking fee to secure your session and then you do not pay or choose anything else until you see your final images. You can pay by cash, card payment, bank transfer or we offer interest free finance options via payitmonthly.

Newborns are best photographed within the first 1-2 weeks of life. During this time babies will usually hold some of the natural curl and flexibility from when they were in the womb. Those first weeks work best to get peaceful, sleepy poses. Older newborns can still do well in these sessions, so please don't be put off. I am to capture awake and sleepy images no matter what and offer newborn session up to around 6 weeks. After this age we would just change some things to suit them, but no matter what age your baby is, we can get a beautiful gallery, we would book as a baby session, and wouldn't be looking to do a typical newborn workflow, and a shorter studio time would be needed.

Newborn sessions usually last around 2 hours, but I schedule 3 hours just to be sure. This may seem long, but we need that time to work around baby. You will find a big part of it is cuddles and soothing, and we work around baby and their cues. You usually get to sit back and relax while I work with baby and it does go by very fast.

You proof gallery is usually ready to view within one week from your session. I can sometimes offer you the option of viewing your proofing gallery from same day (if choosing this I ask you to nip out and come back a few hours later), or we schedule within the week. During this appointment you will see a proofing gallery and from there make your selections and purchases. I then fully edit and process your chosen images and deliver to you around another 1 week to 10days later, larger wall art products can take a little longer as they are hand crafted and made to order.
